our hunch is that life with God is better than life without God

our hunger is to connect with something greater than ourselves

our hope is that the best is yet to come

Join us this Sunday for Part 2 of the IF Sermon Series! Trade your “if only” regrets for God’s “what if” possibilities!

This Sunday, P. Sam will be sharing a message entitled, “If God”. With great music as always and a great community waiting for you…

11:30 AM @ 1411 Oak Street in Alameda

We believe that faith is not meant to be lived alone.

EMBRACE is gathering a sincere and seeking community of wanderers and wonderers who desire to build a life with God and with each other.

We are people from different walks of life – representing a diversity of spiritual experiences – but holding together in common the hunch that life with God is better than life without God and that life is best lived out in community.

We believe that worship honors God and fills our souls.

EMBRACE comes together every Sunday for a moment of singing, praying, listening and responding.

We believe that worship is the primary way of being in relationship with God – to connect with something greater – and that such a relationship moves us to take action.

We believe that following Jesus means creating impact.

EMBRACE is committed to inspiring and equipping people to make a positive difference in the lives of those we know and in the world in which we live. We take seriously Jesus’ command for us to love God and to love people through the intentional use of our time, talents and treasures.

Because our hope is that the best is yet to come, we are in constant pursuit of God’s vision for wholeness and welfare for all.

We’ll see you this Sunday!

“IF GOD” based on Romans 8:9-39

Romans chapter 8 has been referred to as the “Great Eight”! It contains perhaps the most important, powerful spiritual truth for our lives. The power of Jesus’ resurrection is in us! We are adopted as God’s children! And ultimately… that God is for us! Paul raises the rhetorical question, “If God be for us, who can be against us?” There is no one rooting more for our lives, more for our success, more for our impact than God Himself. Sometimes we feel like God is against us, when life is not going well or going our way. But the truth is that God is working in ways beyond what we can see and what we can understand. If we anchor our life and faith in this truth that God is for us, we can live great hope and great power.
