We believe that faith is not meant to be lived alone.
EMBRACE is gathering a sincere and seeking community of wanderers and wonderers who desire to build a life with God and with each other.
We are people from different walks of life – representing a diversity of spiritual experiences – but holding together in common the hunch that life with God is better than life without God and that life is best lived out in community.
We believe that worship honors God and fills our souls.
EMBRACE comes together every Sunday for a moment of singing, praying, listening and responding.
We believe that worship is the primary way of being in relationship with God – to connect with something greater – and that such a relationship moves us to take action.
We believe that following Jesus means creating impact.
EMBRACE is committed to inspiring and equipping people to make a positive difference in the lives of those we know and in the world in which we live. We take seriously Jesus’ command for us to love God and to love people through the intentional use of our time, talents and treasures.
Because our hope is that the best is yet to come, we are in constant pursuit of God’s vision for wholeness and welfare for all.
We’ll see you this Sunday!

NEW SERMON SERIES: PRAYER 101
For those sincerely seeking a relationship with God, one question seems to surface quite often: how do I pray? This is a great question because prayer is our primary way of connecting with God, it is our way of being in relationship with the God who desires to be in relationship with us. The disciples asked the same of Jesus… “Lord, teach us to pray.” And Jesus responded. We pursue this journey of learning to pray the “Jesus way” by covering some of the basics of prayer. Jesus taught this to the disciples through a prayer that we know today as the “Lord’s Prayer”. The Lord’s prayer is Prayer 101. It is a basic, daily prayer that connects us with God no matter when, no matter where, no matter how and no matter why. There is a difference between Prayer 101 and Prayer 911. The first is a daily commitment that helps us to grow in faith and in wielding the power of prayer over time. The second is what many of us end up going to – seeking God only when we need something, an emergency situation where we find ourselves desperate. The more we root ourselves in Prayer 101 – praying the Jesus way, the less our faith will be dependent on Prayer 911 and actually be dependent on God Himself.
