If there was ever a person who did not need to pray, it was Jesus. And yet, Jesus prayed a lot.

He prayed by himself, he prayed with others, he prayed before important decisions, he prayed when dealing with difficult news, he prayed. Jesus’ behavior firmly implies there is effectiveness in prayer. We begin the series from a personal place. What does it mean to pray? How are our lives shaped by the prayers we pray?
