Places of Worship (Part 2): Where heaven meets earth

Bethel, which means house of God, is the place Jacob named as such after he saw the meeting of heaven and earth. For Jacob, it affirmed God’s promise of blessing. For us, it represents the starting point of the Christian imagination that brings into our practical reality the values and realities of God's kingdom.
