Places of Worship (Part 4): In spirit and in truth

We see in the conversation between David and God, that God never desired a fixed building to be built to his honor where people would come to sacrifice (2 Sam 7:4-9). God desired a more fluid relationship unhindered by location. Generations later the woman at the well demands an answer from Jesus about where the proper place to worship God is. Jesus’ answer was simple. It was not about location, it was about the heart. What does it mean to worship in the Spirit and in Truth? How can we practice this beyond its abstract idea?
